Valentines Day.

So yeah it is a little late, but I wanted to show these hysterical Harry Potter valentines. 

It is no secret that I am a twenty-something Potter fan, yeah, don't judge... we all have our guilty little pleasures whether it is reality TV (which I love), unhealthy but oh so good snacky food (which I love also), or shopping sprees for home decor and new clothes/make up (which again, I love too).  So basically I have a lot of guilty pleasures ha, but hey at least I know what makes me happy- the simple pleasures!  

Back to the Harry Potter Valentines, I posted these all over the house in silly random places: Scott's closed lap top screen, on his pillow, in the fridge etc. I'm sure I got more of a kick out of them than he did! ha.    

My favorite is "I like your longbottom" haha. 

Two Months & Counting...

So in two months, Scott and my family will meet for the first time and I am so excited. We decided to plan a mini vacation for them to all meet involving... A cruise to Jamaica, Grand Turks and Nassau Bahamas! 

Yes, Carnival Cruise line's brand new ship! I could not be more excited! 

The Breeze has TWO slides! Yes, I am still a kid and love water slides, dont judge, ha!

I will be spending endless hours by the pool here. 

With hopefully a few of these pina coladas, paired with a good book! 

They even have a ropes course on deck and mini golf. I am super excited to try my hand at the rope course! The guys I am sure will be spending time on the mini golf course since they all love golfing. 

The spa is also going to be utilized during this trip! Either all the ladies can go or Scott and I could do a couples massage! whoohoo!

My mother and father are going. (My brother cannot come because of a work scheduling conflict.)  Scott's father and step mother, sister and brother in law, brother and sister in law, baby sister (3 years old) and nephew (1 years old) are all coming. Let's just hope that everyone gets along... since we will al be on a boat for five days! Eek!

I know it's going to be great and everyone will get along great. On the way home we have an extra day so we are going to stop by one of the theme parks... I am of course shooting for Universal again, but I am sure we will probably go to Sea World since it is more kid friendly. Either way it will all be so much fun and I am counting down the days! Whoohoo! 

LIFE {update}

So I have been incredibly MIA lately, but so much has been going on that I have just not had time to keep up with everything and hobbies. But here is a quick update!

UPDATES on the WEDDING!

With the Wedding: We are about 7 and a half months away and things are slowly coming along. 

1. Venue- The Sand Dunes Club

2. Caterer - Booked, food tasting next Tuesday to pick the menu.

3. Photographer- Booked, Engagement pictures next week, lets hope for nice weather!

4. WEDDING DRESS!!! Bought and loved.

5. Bridesmaids Dresses! Chosen and beautiful. 

6. Tuxes! Chosen they're very sharp and stylish!

7. DJ- Booked! 

8. Hair Stylist- chosen, booked!

9. Cake- chosen the flavor after the tasting, ordered! It's so good! 

Wedding To Do:

1. Save the dates (waiting on engagement pictures).

2. Invitations- to do in a few months. 

3. Programs  - order and assemble.

4. Book a floor of hotels for guests.

5. Choose linens... this has been a difficult task, ugh. 

6. Decide on flowers. 

7. Order chairs for the ceremony. 

8. Book ceremony music. 

9. Rent a photo booth. 

So at least we are eh half way there? We have all the "big" stuff decided and booked so now it is all the minor details and personal touches left to do! Whoohoo! Getting closer to becoming a MRS!

UPDATES on the HOME! 

-The house is slowly becoming ours with all of our personal touches! 

-The craft room is practically done, it just needs a table and a rug. But the paint color is such a bright and fun aqua color. It looks great! Pictures to come! 

-The Kitchen is done! I'm sure eventually we will replace the counter top, but for now the kitchen is done! 

- The living room needs some framed pictures and it is done, however we just decided today on changing the furniture... so maybe it's not quite done yet!

- Guest bathroom is painted and done, so bright and pretty. 

House To Do:

-Coming up I am painting the master bedroom.

- Refurnish our dining room table- complete make over.

- Make window valences.

- Paint the master bathroom a light mint color! Ohh la la! 

- Finish priming the guest bedroom. 

- Paint the bathroom cabinets white. 

- Paint stripes on the breakfast area wall. 

- Make a headboard out of old shutters!

So basically the downstairs is done, and now it's the upstairs I need to focus on! I'm sure in the next month it will be completely done, I am on a mission!
